Prospectus #263 New Mexico Only Purchase Initiative
Calling New Mexico Artists! The Art in Public Places program at New Mexico Arts announces the 2021 New Mexico Only Purchase Initiative. The project is open to artists who reside in and galleries that are located in New Mexico.
New Mexico Only seeks to diversify the state's public art collection by purchasing artwork from artists in all stages of their careers. All media in all genres, interior and exterior works, will be considered for purchase and display at publicly accessible buildings throughout the State of New Mexico. Project amounts are $1,000 - $20,000 all-inclusive. The deadline for submissions is August 13, 2021.
