New Pastel Paintings by Margaret Nes and Mary Silverwood
Ventana Fine Art proudly announces a showing of new works by two exceptional pastellists, Margaret Nes, and Mary Silverwood (1936-2012). We begin with a live Zoom/Facebook viewing of fourteen Mary Silverwood paintings that are being shown for the first time, and a conversation with her Estate Manager, Joyce Robins, from 5:00 to 5:25, on Thursday, May 6, 2021. The following Thursday, May 13, we will interview Margaret Nes at her Taos studio as we focus on individual paintings in the live Zoom/Facebook presentation, also from 5:00 to 5:25.
Extended gallery hours on Friday, May 7 will take the place of a traditional reception. We will post both interviews on our website under the Video Library heading. The show runs from May 5 through May 25, with representation of both artists ongoing.
