Meditation and Musical Petting Zoo Offered By The Teabag Project

Santa Fe is home to one of the largest, most diverse and vibrant art markets in the world. Fine artist, Ann Laser creates exquitse, meditative works using used, dried teabags as her raw material. These teabags have been collected by Laser and are also sent to her from around the world as part of her ongoing international collaborative art project. The Teabag Project, receives used, driec teabags from tea drinkers the world over who wish to be part of the project's mission to encourage world peace through inner peace.

Keating and Laser became fast friends when Keating moved to Santa Fe from Los Angeles. Keating added her promotional and design skills honed and refined throughout her career as a musician and performer. Keating works from high resolution photographs of Laser's mixed media, fine art pieces, designing scarves, wraps and other wearable art pieces and home decor items.

Both Laser and Keating will be on hand at the event to lead short form meditation sessions with a variety of handheld acoustical instruments for participants to explore. Wearable art items from their line will be available for purchase and the gallery will be open with an exhibition of works by nine local artists on display as well. This is a free event, open to the public as part of Santa Fe's annual Art Week.
