In celebration of Santa Fe's Art Week, ViVO Contemporary Art Gallery on Canyon Road presents Cords & Strings LIVE during the Canyon Road Art Stroll. Enjoy this accomplished duo on a lovely summer's evening in an idealic gallery setting. Canyon Road will be closed from 5 pm to 7 pm to allow pedestrians to wander freely from gallery to gallery.

Nine contemporary Santa Fe artists offer fascinating answers to that question with their 21st Century spin on traditional media like paint and canvas to more experimental materials like fiber sculpture, kiln glass and mixed media mosaic. Come and take a voyage through the artists’ visions while journeying through the musical sound scape from the vast repetoire offered by Cords & Strings.
Lisa Keating brings powerfully emotional renderings of popular music from the last 100 years through nuanced interpretations and jazz flavored arrangements. Jesse Vernier's virtuosic expression on the guitar brings a classical attitude to the mix. The alchemy that occurs when this duo approach composers from Jobim to Sondheim, Bach to Bacharach, Legrand to Gershwin is intoxicating in its beatuy.
