About the Event
ViVO artists reveal their latest works to illuminate your awareness and experience of contemporary art. The last months have been very prolific for this group of Santa Fe artists as evidenced by these inspired paintings, sculpture, construction, and kiln glass. Barrie Brown’s Kiln Glass, Snow Day, literally lets in the light to complete the aesthetic of her work as layers of pigmented glass are animated by refraction of light. Feel the warmth of the soft light of spring as you envelope yourself in the power of these 21st Century Southwest masterworks. On view in the gallery on Canyon Road or online in our virtual exhibit after March 12th at vivocontemporary.com/current-exhibit

Ann Laser’s "Resilience" is a reaction to the artist’s challenges, both personal and pandemic, and the art that she creates in response to those challenges. Channelling the negative energy into positive productivity, her work has been evolving as a faster than normal rate during the lockdown. This stunning work behind glass represents countless hours of meditative and meticulous focus to allow the light of inspiration to shine.
