About the Event

Do you ever wonder how Georgia O’Keeffe became the masterful artist we know today? Join us for an intimate virtual class and try your hand at drawing methods that guided the young O’Keeffe in her student days. Throughout the class we will explore different exercises from Arthur Wesley Dow’s book Composition. The class will be 90 minutes in length and interactive. Led by local artist Liz Brindley.

Supplies needed for the class include a pencil or pen and paper. Colored pencils or pastels or colored markers or crayons are optional. This class is suitable for youth ages 12 and up. Children are welcome to participate alongside their adults.

Space is limited, reservations required.

This discussion will take place via the video conferencing app – ZOOM. Details for accessing the Zoom meeting will be with your receipt upon registering and again sent via email the day before the program. Please register in advance in order to access the program.

Note that all program times are in MST.

This class is being offered on a sliding scale. $5; minimal fee. $20; covers the cost of the class. $30; covers the cost of the class, plus a contribution to provide an art kit to a community member in need.
