Complex and bold, new paintings from renowned landscape artist, Mark Bowles. These new works are carefully layered with many viscosities of color that both act to obscure and reveal parts of the painting, creating a luminous effect that continues to evolve as the day goes on with the ever changing sunlight. Having warm and cold hues relating to the moods birthed by dusk and dawn, these paintings are highly imaginative, yet evoke familiar feelings of nostalgia and rebirth in the viewer.
