Keating and Vernier have performed around the world separately and have been navigating the space between classical music and the world of jazz together since their paths crossed here in The City Different. 

The duo perform elaborate arrangements for solo guitar by Heitmeyer, Rodrigo, Takeuchi and more as Keating deftly improvises her way through the arrangements with an ear tuned to jazz and a voice rich with emotion. This unique offering takes listeners on a journey through time and space from the beaches of Brazil through the movie soundtracks of Hollywood, the scores of Broadway and across the ocean to the Paris of Piaf and Legrand.

Listen for Jobim, Caymmi, Sergio Mendes, the melodies of Gershwin, Carmichael, Sondheim, Mandel, Joni Mitchell and Burt Bacharach the lyrics of the Bergman's, Johnny Mercer and the repertoire of Streisand and Sinatra with influences of Nat King Cole, Dinah Washington, Julie Andrews and Doris Day sprinkled in for good measure.
