Compensation Summary: Hourly wage shall be $22 per hour plus a percentage of all sales, commensurate with experience.
Employee shall work a minimum of 5 days per week to earn cited commission of net sales (commissions are prorated to hours worked). Exceptions for commissions earnings shall take effect if Employee takes consecutive days off the bi-weekly schedule, resulting in less than 10 days cumulative. Gallery offers 4% matching 401-K plan after one calendar year of employment, provided Gallery is able to enroll Employee with enough accumulated hours (401-K is regulated). Gallery shall provide 4 flex-days off per year for any reason.
Confidentiality Agreement: Employee must sign agreement to commence employment.
Review: Initial review after 2 weeks, then again after 90 days of employment, upon which time Employee and Employer shall mutually assess path of continued employment. Subsequent reviews shall take place annually.
Availability: Must be available most weekend days, holidays and occasional Friday evenings. Holidays and weekends are essential. Pay period shall be every two weeks for hourly compensation, and on the 3rd of the next month for previous month’s sales commissions.
Position Summary: The position of Gallery Associate plays a critical team-oriented role with a philosophy that fosters an all-hands approach to the team. The Gallery Associate shall be involved in most aspects of gallery operations, but focused primarily on logistics, installing shows, and some sales.
Gallery Associate must be personable, energetic, positive-thinking, motivated, organized, and enjoy working in a support of the CRCA team of employees, contractors and artists, in any capacity that helps CRCA run smoothly.
